Miss Olurin carried out her medical training in Nigeria and qualified in 1987. Then in 1998 Miss Olurin received full registration with the British Medical Council (GMC) and held a number of positions at the King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor.
Since 2007 Miss Olurin has been an Associate Specialist Ophthalmologist at the Prince Charles eye unit in Windsor. Miss Olurin also runs specialist clinics and has performed over 3000 oculoplastic procedures to date. She is also involved in the training of Registrars and Fellows in oculoplastic surgical procedures.

Corneal and Anterior Segment – 6 years ago Miss Olurin introduced the service into the unit. She also liaises closely with local Rheumatologists to care for patients with ocular complications of their disease.
Oculoplastic clinic – performed over 3000 Oculoplastic procedures to date.
Botox clinic- Miss Olurin runs a regular Botox clinic which she started in 2009.
Minor operations clinic – a weekly minor operative clinic where Miss Olurin has performed over 4000 minor operative procedures to date.
Casualty clinic – currently responsible for the teaching and training of resident doctors, nurse practitioners and triage nurses in the Unit.
Pterygium Surgery – Miss Olurin has performed over 150 pterygium excisions with conjuctival autografts to date.
Glaucoma clinics- Miss Olurin runs a geriatric glaucoma service catering for the elderly and vulnerable patients in the unit.
